Community activation for Uniliga
Maker of the Week, of the Month, of the Season
Uniliga is a growing community that runs esports competitions for students at around 200 university locations across Germany, forming the foundation for amateur esports. In 2023 and 2024 we partnered with this community.
Around the idea of the "maker", we set up an activation: week after week, month after month and across the whole season, the community honours its makers. So that this is carried by the community itself rather than curated by us, we built a dedicated self-serve portal where they submit their best moments and vote on them.

The activation
Maker of the Week, of the Month, of the Season: the award picks up the Shopmacher idea of the "maker" and translates it into the Uniliga community. Instead of a jury, the community itself decides which plays stand out, continuously across the entire season, spanning games like CS:GO, Valorant and Overwatch 2.
The portal
Through the portal the community submits its best clips and votes on them. Login and identity come via Discord single sign-on: one click, no separate account, right where the community is already at home. The winners are collected in a Hall of Fame.
