Centric Software (formerly Contentserv) is a technology partner for Product Experience Management (PXM). The company was founded in 2000. Shopmacher have been working officially with Centric since 2024 and currently support two joint clients.
A special recognition: as early as 2025, Shopmacher received the Centric Award "Newcomer of the Year".
How it all began
It all started with a concrete need. In 2024, our long-standing client BVB was looking for a PIM system that could do justice to its omnichannel assortment. Shopmacher had already made initial contact with Centric and had the PIM expertise needed to assess the requirements. Once it became clear that Centric PXM was the right fit both technologically and on a human level, the way was clear. BVB decided on Centric as its future PIM platform, and a joint project quickly turned into a real partnership.
The fact that Shopmacher were named "Newcomer of the Year" just one year later shows how quickly and intensively the collaboration developed.
What makes Centric special?
Many still know Centric Software under the name Contentserv. Today the company offers Centric PXM, an AI-powered Product Experience Management solution that combines PIM, DAM, content syndication and digital shelf analytics in a single platform. In a world where product data is often fragmented and has to be delivered across a wide range of channels, Centric creates exactly the structure needed to build compelling product experiences.

What do our clients get out of it?
