Nekom

NEKOM is a technology partner from Graz in Austria that, with its "Retail Service Platform", offers a cloud solution for retailers covering all processes of digital and brick-and-mortar retail. At its core, the NEKOM solution is a middleware, but NEKOM has been developing it consistently along market needs for more than 10 years. The product is proven, established, runs very stably and improves continuously. This means the NEKOM solution goes well beyond the usual feature set of a middleware and suits everyone aiming for a best-in-need technology stack built to modern standards.

NEKOM is one of our oldest technology partners; we share a collaboration of more than 10 years that even reaches back to our predecessor companies.

NEKOM is a very good partner for us because the solution is so versatile. A middleware at its core, the NEKOM platform also brings a number of its own features such as PIM, order management and CRM functions. Especially when a multichannel setup needs to be implemented in a short time and with manageable resources, NEKOM lets us achieve remarkably good results incredibly fast and get a system "up and flying".

We have simply been working together for a very long time and "see things the same way". As a rule, we agree immediately on how best to tackle a challenge. That is worth its weight in gold! On top of that, the NEKOM solution itself is simply designed from the use case up. The goal is always to avoid or solve problems. And since both of us have been active in digital retail for a very long time, we have come across plenty of problems that we now often eliminate together.

That NEKOM, by the way, does not just provide software as a service here, but tinkers with us over a challenge until we have a smart solution, also makes the collaboration genuinely pleasant, which as a rule carries over to the client relationship too: everyone pulls in the same direction.

Since 2016 we have delivered eight projects together. We currently use the NEKOM solution at our clients BVB, Bravobike and Paul Wiegand.

We are always delighted when, during a consulting project on questions of system architecture, we can pull a remarkable ace from our sleeve with the NEKOM solution! That has happened many times in the past, and we are very confident it will stay that way in the future. On the one hand, because product development at NEKOM is driven consistently along the needs of the market, but also because the approach of the Graz team aligns 100% with the trend toward cloud-driven architectures. And not least, NEKOM is very open to current innovations. For example, the NEKOM PIM already offers AI-supported creation of product texts today.
