SHOPMACHER receives TÜV certification
Why do SHOPMACHER love standardized processes?
Standardized development processes are more than just a buzzword for us. They form the backbone of our work and bring numerous advantages:
- Efficiency: We minimize frictional losses and optimize our resources through uniform processes.
- Quality improvement: Standardized processes help us to deliver consistently high-quality results.
- Seamless onboarding: New team members can quickly familiarize themselves with our way of working.
- Clear communication: Standardized processes facilitate collaboration within the team and with customers.
The way to be TÜV certified
- A four-and-a-half-hour audit with 150 questions on all aspects of our work
- Detailed insights into our tools and working methods
- Review of our corporate structure and role definitions
- A penetration test on one of our sample projects
What does the certification mean for SHOPMACHER customers?
The TÜV certification is intended to give customers a more secure feeling when choosing the right implementation partner. SHOPMACHER is now certified for:
Trustworthiness
Our processes and our company organization have been confirmed as sensible, efficient and secure by an independent institution.
Quality guarantee
Standardized processes ensure consistently high quality in all projects.
transparency
Clearly defined processes make our work comprehensible and predictable.
Future security
Our methods facilitate the onboarding of new projects, but also the handover and further development of existing projects.
The holistic approach of the project certification is particularly noteworthy: it covers the entire development process – from the first customer inquiry to the final delivery.
What happens now?
We wouldn’t be SHOPMACHER if we rested on our TÜV certification. Of course, it is an incentive for continuous improvement. We will review the TÜV’s recommendations for further optimization and implement our processes even more consistently in all projects. And because our industry thrives on rapid change, we will also renew our certification every year to ensure that we are always up to date.
The official presentation of the certificate (printed and framed) will take place in our office on October 30. We are proud of this award and see it as confirmation of the path we have taken – and as a promise to our customers that we will continue to set the highest standards in digital development in the future.

Crew power: Why the best strategy fails without the right team
It may sound like a truism – but our experience shows that this perspective is often not sufficiently taken into account: In practice, it is often not tools or budgets that determine success, but people. After all, what good is the most modern tech stack if the team is not adequately staffed?

The target image: Why a feature list is not yet a compass
If you start without a clear destination, you shouldn’t be surprised if you end up somewhere completely different. Many companies make a classic mistake here: they confuse the detailed route planning with the actual destination. But while a rigid plan collapses at the first obstacle, a real target image gives the crew orientation even in stormy times.
