Digital Solutions for the Healthcare market

Pharma and Medical Technology?

Absolutely! Whether you’re a global pharmaceutical corporation, a wholesaler of medical devices, or a supplier for hospitals and emergency services—we understand the specific requirements and challenges that medical technology and pharmaceutical companies face today. Even though the cases are entirely different, they share one common factor—we listen first, search for the right tech stacks, and align on goals. Despite our fascination with digital technology, we’re not interested in technical gimmicks. What matters to us is what digital innovation delivers. For our clients. But also for their customers. In short: For all the people we have the privilege to accompany on the journey into the future of e-commerce.

With the right impulses for D2C Success: Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

For the globally operating pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy’s, we developed a Europe-wide D2C online store to sell the innovative neuromodulation armband “Nerivio.”

Instead of distributing the medical product through brick-and-mortar pharmacies, the company opted for direct sales via a D2C online store. Patients can get a private prescription from their general practitioner, order the product conveniently online, and have it delivered directly to their homes.

A significant challenge was prescription validation, which became an external microservice and is still in MVP status. Patients upload photos of their prescriptions, which are manually validated.

Another crucial aspect of the project was data protection. Using commercetools, we implemented an e-commerce solution where data processing takes place in Europe. Additionally, a strict focus on data minimization was maintained: at no point is the medical prescription permanently stored.

Nekom was implemented as a flexible middleware solution that was quickly implemented and capable of meeting the challenges of modern e-commerce in an international context.

The Indian pharmaceutical manufacturer Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is a specialist in generics but also conducts its own research. The company employs 21,000 people worldwide.

The Savior of emergency Services: 1A Medizintechnik.

To digitize sales and reach new customer groups, we implemented an e-commerce solution for 1A Medizintechnik. The focus was on optimizing the ordering process for emergency services and fire departments.

Through the use of a Progressive Web App (PWA), stations can now capture and send orders using mobile phones and the camera function even offline.

There are clear distinctions between B2B and B2C instances. Station leaders can enable specific colleagues to place orders up to a certain limit or approve orders themselves. A configured dashboard allows the station leader to oversee the entire ordering, approval, and delivery process.

With a clear distinction between B2B and B2C users, dynamic product lists and filtering functions were implemented to ensure that customers can quickly and easily find and assemble the products they need. Additionally, an intuitive user interface was developed that is easy to use even for less tech-savvy users.

Rethinking Medical Whoesale: servoprax.

Servoprax offers a wide range of medical products, including diagnostics, laboratory and practice supplies, ultrasound and radiology needs, and emergency products. Servoprax’s customers are medical wholesalers, specialist retailers, medical supply stores, and orthopedic and rehabilitation technicians.

We support Servoprax with our expertise in advancing their digitization strategy. Specifically, we provide advice on evaluating and recommending existing and new processes, for example, to connect medical practices to Servoprax’s systems. Furthermore, we assist with implementation by enabling practices and specialist retailers to manage a sub-shop with products and follow-up processes. We are also currently managing the existing Oxid shop, with an expansion to a new tech stack forthcoming.
