The Shopmacher are a member of the MACH Alliance
Why we became a member
But conviction alone is not enough. A strong community is needed to spread and promote this way of thinking. We continue to see that the advantages of modular architectures are not recognized clearly enough in many companies, that decision-makers cling to monolithic systems because the change seems complex and that potential remains untapped. Shopmacher wants to help change this. We want to make IT better. And the MACH Alliance is the right place to do this together.
What it means to be MACH-certified
This is a strong signal for retailers and decision-makers. Anyone working with a MACH-certified partner knows that their architecture approach has been tested by an independent, vendor-neutral organization. This creates trust on a level that goes beyond references and self-presentation.
How we live MACH
For each building block of a commerce solution, we select the technology that best suits the respective project, whether PIM, search, content management, payment or commerce core. The decisive factor is not a fixed set of tools, but the ability to put together the right combination for the specific requirements and to integrate them cleanly. This is what makes the difference between a MACH slide and a MACH architecture.

The solution: building the bridge between actual and target
The crew is ready, the foundations have been checked and the compass is aligned. Now comes the supreme discipline: how does the vision become a feasible plan? The solution closes the gap between the status quo and the target image – transparently, without a black box and, above all, without the dangerous “guesswork trap”.
The target image: Why a feature list is not yet a compass
If you start without a clear destination, you shouldn’t be surprised if you end up somewhere completely different. Many companies make a classic mistake here: they confuse the detailed route planning with the actual destination. But while a rigid plan collapses at the first obstacle, a real target image gives the crew orientation even in stormy times.
