Centric Software (formerly Contentserv) is a technology partner for Product Experience Management (PXM). The company was founded in 2000. Shopmacher has been officially working with Centric since 2024 and currently supports two joint customers.

A special award: the Shopmacher already received the Centric Award “Newcomer of the Year” in 2025.

How it all began

It all started with a specific need. Our long-standing customer BVB was looking for a PIM system in 2024 that would do justice to its omnichannel product range. The Shopmacher had already made initial contact with Centric and had the necessary PIM expertise to assess the requirements. When it became clear that Centric PXM was the right fit in terms of technology and people, the path was clear. BVB opted for Centric as its future PIM platform, and a joint project quickly turned into a genuine partnership.

The fact that the Shopmacher were named “Newcomer of the Year” just one year later shows how quickly and intensively the collaboration has developed.

What makes Centric special?

Centric Software is still known to many under the name Contentserv. Today, the company offers Centric PXM, an AI-supported product experience management solution that combines PIM, DAM, content syndication and digital shelf analytics in a single platform. In a world where product data is often fragmented and needs to be played out across various channels, Centric creates the structure to build compelling product experiences.
