Akeneo is a member of the MACH Alliance (Microservice, API-driven, Cloud, Headless) and is therefore absolutely in step with us in terms of architecture philosophy.

What do we particularly appreciate about Akeneo?

In addition, Akeneo not only pursues a progressive approach in terms of the technology idea, the user interface and configuration are also very intuitive and this helps us to quickly convince potential customers of the solution and its advantages, because they simply become more independent and can therefore control their data quality to a large extent themselves.

Features such as the rule engine, tailored import/export, granular rights management and data quality overview offer our customers immediately comprehensible added value and also help us to make e-commerce more successful.

And last but not least, partner support, communication and coordination in implementation projects are very professional, so that we receive all the support we need from the manufacturer to do a first-class job.

There is also a growing understanding that it is simply smart to use each system component in an architecture exactly where it has its strengths: store does checkout, CRM does customer data, ERP does inventory, etc. So we look forward to working with Akeneo to take the MACH approach further.

There are currently still many self-developed solutions on the market in which these tasks are handled together in a makeshift manner in a less flexible system stack. These systems must be gradually replaced, and when the time comes to optimize product data management, the flexible cloud solution from Akeneo will be shortlisted by many IT managers.
