gamescom 2023 – SHOPMACHER were again the tech team behind the scenes

As the central platform for the European computer and video game industry and the world’s largest event for interactive entertainment, gamescom brings industry, retail and the media together every year. gamescom is organized by the association of the German games industry, “game”, and Koelnmesse. In 2023, SHOPMACHER was again the technical partner in the background.

So geht Messe heute: 320.000 Messebesucher, allein 180 Millionen Online-Streams des Eröffnungs-Events. #gamescom2023 sprengte die Charts – und wir, die Shopmacher, waren hautnah dabei.
Als leidenschaftliche Gaming-Enthusiasten? Ja! Aber ebenso als das Tech-Team hinter den Kulissen, das diese Gaming-Messe in ein phänomenales #Hybridevent verwandelt hat.
Kleiner Vergleich? Der Super Bowl konnte mit 65 Mio. Online-Views weniger nicht mithalten. Die „gamescom: Opening night“ lag weit vorn.
Seit 2021 sind wir stolz darauf, digitalen Wind unter die Flügel der größten Spielemesse der Welt zu bringen. Und das Beste daran? Unsere Reise geht weiter! 2024 werden wir mit Technologien wie Hygraph, Headless Technology, Commercetools Frontend, react.js und PWA dafür sorgen, dass der Besucherzähler der gamescom erneut explodiert.
