Who and what is NEKOM?
NEKOM is a technology partner from Graz in Austria that offers a cloud solution for retailers with its “Retail Service Platform” that covers all digital and stationary retail processes. At its core, NEKOM’s solution is middleware, but NEKOM has been consistently developing its solution to meet market needs for more than 10 years. The product is proven, established, runs very stable and is continuously improving. Thus, NEKOM’s solution clearly exceeds the usual functional scope of a middleware and is suitable for all those who aim for a best-in-need technology stack according to modern standards.
When did we become a NEKOM partner?
NEKOM is one of our oldest technology partners; we have more than 10 years of cooperation, which even extends to our predecessor companies.

Why did we choose NEKOM as a partner?
NEKOM is a very good partner for us because the solution is very versatile. At its core a middleware, the NEKOM platform also offers some features of its own, such as PIM, order management or CRM functions. Especially when a multichannel setup is to be implemented in a short time and with a manageable use of resources, we can achieve remarkably good results with NEKOM and get a system “flying” very quickly.

What do we appreciate most about NEKOM?
We have simply been working together for a very long time and have “the same view of things”. We usually agree immediately on the best way to approach a challenge. This is worth its weight in gold! In addition, NEKOM’s solution in itself is simply very much thought of from the use case. The goal is always to avoid or solve problems. And since we’ve both been in digital commerce for a very long time, we’ve already encountered a lot of problems that we now often work together to iron out.
The fact that NEKOM does not simply provide software as a service, but works with us on a challenge until we have a smart solution, makes the cooperation really pleasant – which usually also transfers to the customer relationship: Everyone pulls together.
Our experience with NEKOM:
In the last seven years, we have implemented eight projects together. We are currently using NEKOM’s solution with our customers BVB, Bravobike and Paul Wiegand.
This is what we look forward to in the future with NEKOM:
We are always very pleased when we can pull a remarkable ace out of our sleeve with the NEKOM solution in the course of a consulting project on system architecture issues! This has been the case many times in the past, and we are very confident that it will remain so in the future. On the one hand, because product development at NEKOM is consistently driven along the needs of the market, but also because the approach of the Graz-based company is 100% in line with the trend towards cloud-driven architectures. And last but not least, NEKOM is very attentive to current innovations. For example, the NEKOM PIM already offers AI-supported creation of product texts today. They’re simply fast, the Austrians – and we’re looking forward to continuing to accompany them …
