B2B retailers rely on their own online shops

Digitization is also changing trade between companies. Production and sales goods are increasingly sold via online shops – also in B2B. Anyone who sells their goods to commercial customers can hardly avoid their own B2B online shop. However, private business cloud companies are often reluctant to sell their products via an e-commerce platform. Medium-sized companies in particular are just beginning to look at the possibilities of digital B2B sales. André Roitzsch, CEO at SHOPMACHER, emphasizes: “A marketplace can be a good alternative, especially for first steps, because the initial costs are comparatively low.”
